I say, Philippines is badly in need of godly leaders who can lead Filipinos in the right direction- seeking God first above all to change lives in all aspects for the better. ‘If the people will humble themselves, and turn from their wicked ways...
'Let me echo what one of my mentors said in the pulpit a time in the past ‘Philippines is cursed.’ At that time, he didn’t give much detail on it…but I’ve been seeing the picture- the evidence of what he shared. WE CAN'T HELP BUT COMPLAIN ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT SYSTEM HERE. NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT, BUT I THINK IT'S BETTER THAT EVERY FILIPINO SHOULD HAVE THIS SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY AND COMMITMENT TO THE PHILS.BY NOT JUST COMPLAINING, BUT TAIL IT WITH ACTIONS...
Surely, we have a good God-ready to command the strong wind to stop, but He is also just...He rewards those who do good, and PUNISHES those who do evil...Looking Philippines-she's mostly peopled with humans who don't even know the real God!...Oh, that idolatry thing * Sigh!

I find this very cute for I'm 24 and yes, I'm still reading this book which was lent to me by the two very important people. As you plow through it, you may think Lisa had picked our brains for the thoughts here seem the answers of most of our questions about waiting for that prince and saving for that kiss; okay, okay…let's say your 'second kiss.' SAVE IT! LET'S SAVE IT! SAVING MINE TOO~HAHAHA! I wanna echo what the author says 'Most of the strengths in my life have come not in spite of singleness, but because of it.' This is about an economically-challenged university student (Choi Soo Wan) who tutors another student (Kim Ji-hoon) who has the same age as hers and doesn't love schooling. This is not the recent movie I saw in the net, but I find this one significant to my life as an ESL teacher...kkk^^ Going into details is a tough pill to swallow...Let's just say, I can somehow relate to the main character...I enjoy the plot and the lessons of the movie. I also find their love story cute^^ (DON'T FOCUS ON SOME WORDS OF THE MOVIE...THEY'RE THERE TO MAKE IT MORE REALISTIC.)

Yes, I love being single! I love my time to do many things that I may not be able to do if I'm not one! But of course I can't help but think of that white space in my mural. I'm excited... wondering how the Master Artist is going to fill that up...For sure it's not gonna be a prince who is riding on his white horse from his magnificent castle, but the sure-fire thing is it's gonna be him! The significant other in my life who is the best for me!

...We're meant to be! GOD is the alpha and the omega...HE knows from 'A' to 'Z'. HE is omniscient! HE knows that good and bad things between mama and I since from the beginning til the end are for the best!
She's very cute everytime she reminds me to watch my steps, to answer the nature's call, to walk like a true lady. It's as if I am still a child...Si mama jud!

...Papa is a real man for mama. They're meant to be. No pretty Remym without them! (Ayaw nalang react ba?) Without the spirit of alcohol (Do I need to say this? Well, I have just said it.) , he's really cool when mama is mad. He has a few words in mama's many words. He's really a very cool father. And I must say, I find him a good-looking one! I have my friends who agree on this! He may not appear here as good looking as he is in person ...(kkk^^He's trying to smile upon my request despite the pain of missing mama...huhuhu TT -.-)

...I like basketball because of him. If he likes this team, I like it too! I remember he almost cried when our team lost, and reprimanded my younger bro. for that matter. And hey, I couldn't find a reason why he had to do it! kkk^^ He is my papa...cute na weird...!
TRIVIA:
...Because of marrying young, papa and mama had their early marriage's conflicts that led papa to introduce to me his hometown so well...a simple small place peopled by very accommodating and real individuals.
...The store vendors there let me rendered a song or two with a biscuit in return! (doesn't mean I can sing well, okay!)
...Papa and I went to his hometown walking! And one time, I had this naughty thing in me. I teased my father by walking with one leg to easily fall to the sea, which eventually made me fall to the sea. Yes, I fell to the sea at least my father came to my rescue. He's good in swimming. One more thing I want to learn well!

A leader was not really me. Though I had my fair share of my leadership experiences, I didn't feel I was leading then. I was limiting myself from extending my horizon. I didn't accept many opportunities for the fear of misleading others causing them to blame me. I didn't want that. All I wanted was to please people. That was what leadership means for me before!

Now, I am so blessed to meet people in the church who help me in my growth in this area. Aside from the equipping activities in the church, they always make sure to give me a ring when there's a leadership training outside. Dr. Maxwell has been a help! SUCH A PRIVILEGE TO SERVE GOD!

HOPE TO SEE MORE AND MORE MEN STAND OUT FOR GOD...GODLY MEN, MORE OF YOU PLEASE! LET GOD USE YOU IN LEADING PEOPLE!
